About Us

Fife Fruit Trees has been many years in the making, but officially started in March 2025 with the first rootstocks being planted out in a beautiful field at the Pillars of Hercules Organic Farm. 

Adam grew up in the heritage Orchard town of Newburgh, Fife. He started his land-based career as a volunteer with Falkland Stewardship Trust whilst studying at Cupar’s Elmwood College in 2011, leading to 5 years working with nature conservation charities on wetland and upland sites. Nature friendly farming beckoned, and he then spent 5 years producing field scale Organic vegetables. Finally, the trees called. Until mid-March 2025 he was managing a tree nursery until he returned home. Fife and Fife Fruit Trees was born!
